Dr. M. Basem Chaker,
M.D.
Doctor M. Basem Chaker completed his undergraduate
studies at Damascus University in 1981 and then moved to Texas where he completed medical school at UT Southwestern in 1981.
He later returned to UT Southwestern Medical School where he was on faculty from 1990-1998, the same time during which he
was a staff member at the Veterans Administration hospital in Dallas. In 1998 he opened private practice in Burleson.
Dr Chaker is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
He specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American
Society of Dermatopathology, Tarrant County Dermatological Society, and Tarrant County Medical Society.
